CARP
LAKES
Opened
in 2002, the Carp lakes at Dijon have as predicted, developed
into a 1st class fishery. Both, in the quality of the fishing, and
the lakes themselves as an un spoilt natural, aquatic environment.
We
have worked very hard over the past 7 years to create the perfect
Carp lake, breaking the mold of the "commercial" fishery
in several ways.
Commercial
? Not a word I like to use to describe the lakes, as it tends
to paint a picture of exactly what I've bee trying hard to avoid
here.
Angling
pressure has been kept to an absolute functional minimum, in order
to preserve the lakes and the angling, and it has now become a real
pleasure to fish these un spoilt waters, surrounded by such a variety
of wildlife found in and around the natural aquatic environment.
Small
groups of anglers only, which means each angler has plenty of water
to fish, which should make a nice change for lots of you who fish
in France.
Fishing
at the Graviers will certainly re introduce the achievement factor
back into your carp fishing. They don't give themselves up easy
here, you will have to work at it to get results.
I
would tend to recommend it to the more advanced and experienced carp angler,
people who prefer a non crowded water, and a fairly difficult level
of angling.
The
lake is not "over populated", it has a very natural balance
of carp and other species.

There
have been 2 dvd's filmed at the Main lake, both beautifully filmed
productions from the ORIGINAL VIDEO COMPANY.

approach, rigs and some cracking fish caught, well worth a look
for all types of carp anglers, and especially those interested in fishing
the Main lake!

Filmed
in 2004, the Gardner team enjoy a great week at the lake, plenty
of tactics as the title suggests. More huge carp caught on camera
again, another must for all keen carp anglers, and a good insight
into the lakes.

Back on the Rods
Filmed in May, 2007, Carp angling legend Rod Hutchinson is joined by his good friend Ian Coates. Over 20 fish caught, including Rod's new P.B.
It's a great way to pick up tips on your approach to a big fish water, and of course an insight into Rod's angling.
